101.9 ChaiFM is a Jewish radio station broadcasting to the world from Johannesburg, South Africa. The station name comes from the word “chai”, which means “life” in Hebrew. The station’s programming encompasses every aspect of life from health, finance, business, spirituality, sport, education, travel, psychology, as well as issues affecting the Middle East, local and world Jewry. ChaiFM is a talk station, and is the only English language Jewish talk station in the world. As such, the station is the collective heartbeat of Jewish communities across South Africa and internationally.
